Bandits share photos of the wife and daughter of the late Anglican priest, Venerable Edwin Achi, through his own Facebook account.

This is heartbreaking, disturbing, and absolutely unacceptable.
May God shield the innocent, frustrate every wicked plot, and bring swift justice.

Edwin Achi — priest in charge of Ebenezer Anglican Church, Ungwan Maijero in Kaduna State — was abducted on 28 October 2025 along with his wife and daughter, at their home in Nissi community, Chikun LGA.

The abductors initially demanded a ransom of N600 million for their release.

On 26 November 2025, the Anglican Diocese of Kaduna announced that Achi died in captivity.

The same announcement said that his wife and daughter “remain in captivity.”

Multiple widely circulated social-media screenshots claim that armed men (bandits / terrorists) shared photos of Achi’s wife and daughter — apparently using his own Facebook account — after killing him.

According to those claims, the photos were used as a terror tactic / pressure tool to force the family to comply with ransom demands.
