Dapo Abiodun Seals Buruji Kashamu Hall in Ijebu Igbo

The Ogun State Government has moved to seal the Buruji Kashamu Omo Ilu Hall in Ijebu Igbo after it was determined that the venue owed N7.5 million in unpaid taxes.

The hall was shut down while an event was in progress, which halted the flow of cars and motorcycles on the premises.

There’s chatter of a growing rift between Governor Dapo Abiodun and Senator Gbenga Daniel as the 2027 Ijebu East senatorial race looms, with insiders saying that supplies intended for local residents were allegedly being stored inside the hall at the time of the closure.
