Olubadan elevates ex-senate leader, 6 others
The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja has elevated a former Senate leader, Teslim Kolawole Folarin and six other senior chiefs in the Olubadan chieftaincy line.
DAILY POST reports that the seven traditional title holders were promoted at a ceremony held on Friday.
The event, held at Olubadan palace was attended by prominent traditional to title holders, political office holders and other personalities.
The former Senate leader, Folarin was promoted from the position of Aare Alaasa Olubadan to the position Agbaakin Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Senior Chief Lekan Alabi was promoted from the position of Maye Olubadan of Ibadanland to the position of Abese Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senior Chief Akinade Fijabi was elevated from the position of Ekefa Olubadan of Ibadanland to the position of Maye Olubadan of Ibadanland while
Senior Chief Saka Fola Lapade was promoted to the position of Ekefa Olubadan of Ibadanland from the position of Agbaakin Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Others are Senior Chief Muibi Adewuyi who was promoted to the position of Aare Alasa Olubadan of Ibadanland from Ikolaba Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Raufu Delesolu was promoted to become Ikolaba Olubadan of Ibadanland from the position of Asaaju Olubadan of Ibadanland while Chief Hammed Lanihun was promoted to the position of Asaju Olubadan from Ayingun Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Ladoja implored the newly promoted chiefs to see the honour bestowed on them as a call for sacrifice, rather than an avenue to display glamour.
