If they loose in that semi final .
Nigeria with a higher fifa Ranking than DR Congo will replace them.

If DR Congo qualified for the final of the intercontinental playoffs and they lost. Nigeria will still replace them because Africa still needs one more slot for the Fifa World Cup.

DR Congo just needs to lose any of the semi final or final and Nigeria with a higher ranking will replace them so that the African slot will be complete.
