He Says Two Girls Aren’t Enough’: Woman Faces Family Pressure After Two Cesarean Births

After having my first child through operation; I was advised by many not to get pregnant again but my husband barely one year after, started demanding that I become pregnant.

When I said no, citing fear of having another CS, he threatened to marry another woman who would bear him children freely. For fear of losing my husband to another woman, I accepted to become pregnant.

As God may have it, I became pregnant 1 year and three months after my first child birth. Unfortunately for me, my second child birth was through operation. I have resolved NEVER to become pregnant again.

I told him that the two children- girls are enough for us but my husband is insisting on having another child especially a male child. His families are also supporting him and pressuring him to take another wife.

I am currently depressed and don’t know what to do. If my husband leaves me now, who will marry me with this kind of operation scar on my stomach? Even if another man should marry me, won’t I bear him a child?
I am just so confused. My world appears to be crashing.
