18-year-old Barcelona star Lamine Yamal buys former Pique-Shakira mansion for €11 million
FC Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal has made headlines off the pitch after reportedly purchasing the luxurious €11 million villa once owned by Gerard Piqué and Shakira, according to The Telegraph.
The 18-year-old wonderkid sealed the deal after three months of negotiations, marking a major milestone in his young career and in his personal life.
The lavish property, located in Esplugues de Llobregat, one of Barcelona’s most exclusive suburbs. Built in 2012, the estate where Piqué and Shakira lived during their 12-year relationship, boasts six bedrooms, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a private cinema, a tennis court, a gym, multiple terraces, and even a recording studio.
Reports claim that the property had remained unoccupied since the couple’s separation in 2022. Yamal is expected to share his new home with Argentine rap star Nicki Nicole (25), whom he has been dating since late August.
The couple will also have familiar company in the neighborhood. As outlined in the report, Gerard Piqué’s parents still reside next door, along with several of Yamal’s Barça teammates, including Alejandro Balde and Ronald Araújo.
The purchase reflects Yamal’s rapid rise not just in football but in financial stature. Still only 18, the forward has already become one of Barcelona’s most valuable assets, securing a long-term contract with a release clause exceeding €1 billion and major endorsement deals with Nike.
An €11 million home once owned by Piqué and Shakira, now belongs to Barcelona’s youngest star. From La Masia to luxury living, Yamal’s rise continues to defy his age.
