LEAKED: Lagos APC in Turmoil as Aggrieved Members Across 57 Councils Allegedly Plot Secret Alliance with ADC Ahead of 2027 General Election

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is experiencing fresh turmoil as some disgruntled members across the state’s 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) allegedly hold secret meetings with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

A concerned APC member, Ambassador Prince Sunday Oke, raised the alarm, warning that certain individuals within the party are working against its unity and could derail progress ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The crisis stems from grievances following the July 12, 2025, local government elections, where some members felt sidelined in the candidate selection process.

Oke urged the state chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, to intervene swiftly, citing the need to avoid a repeat of the 2023 scenario when the Labour Party made a surprising sweep in Lagos due to internal APC cracks.

The development signals deep-seated divisions within the Lagos APC, a party long regarded as the most organized political structure in the state
