Save Egbaland from Total Extinction: Arabambi Appeals to Senator Yayi for Immediate Road Rehabilitation
In recent times, the people of Egba Land have continued to suffer the harsh realities of poor road infrastructure that has crippled economic activities, limited access to communities, and posed serious dangers to lives and properties. While remarkable development strides are being witnessed in other parts of Ogun State, particularly in Ogun East and Ogun West, the heart of the state — Ogun Central — is gradually being cut off due to deplorable road conditions.
It is on this note that Dr. Arabambi Abayomi, National Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party and a proud son of Ogun Central, writes this open appeal letter to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), the Aremo of Yewaland, urging him to use his influence and compassion to come to the aid of Egba Land before it becomes completely inaccessible.

We Appeal To You To Heed The Cry Of An Abandoned Senatorial District
Distinguished Senator,
We, the people of Ogun State, write to you with deep respect and a heart of appreciation. We are proud of your enviable record of service and the transformative touch you have brought to governance. Your commitment to the upliftment of lives, your passion for development, and your selfless leadership have endeared you not only to the people of Ogun West whom you directly represent, but to the entire Ogun State.
We fully understand that your senatorial mandate primarily covers Ogun West Senatorial District, and we commend your tireless efforts in that regard. Indeed, the people of Yewaland have every reason to be proud of your leadership, as you continue to deliver projects, empower lives, and drive meaningful change.
We are also aware that it’s expedient for our Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun to spend more to develop roads and other infrastructures in ogun east because of the Airport already in operation there so as to attract investors to Ogun State which is been complimented by the Distinguished Sen and Former Governor of Ogun state His excellency Otunba Gbenga Daniel(OGD)
However, Distinguished Senator, we appeal to your large heart and your well-known love for the entire Ogun populace to please extend your benevolent political and developmental gestures to other parts of the state, particularly Ogun Central Senatorial District, where many of our roads have become a death trap, nearly impassable and which is gradually pushing Egba Land into extinction
Communities in Ogun Central are daily faced with the agony of bad roads, which has crippled movement, trade, and economic activity that has perpetually relegated Egba land to a village while Ogun East and Ogun west are now looking like a small London
Some of the roads that needs your urgent intervention with street lights before Egba Land goes into extinction includes

Distinguished Senator, this plea comes from a place of faith- faith in your ability, your empathy, and your vision for a better Ogun State. We promise, as a people of Ogun Central, that whatever developmental efforts you extend to us will not go unnoticed or unappreciated. We shall stand firmly with you and rally our total support behind you as you continue to write your name in gold in the political and developmental history of our dear state.
We humbly appeal to you to please attend to the cry of a suppressed Senatorial District because we are in Chain
