Sowore breaks silence after release from Kuje Prison,Reveals Next line of action
The Movement Out of Kuje Prison in Abuja with 13 other comrades, after the unjust, inhuman, brutally unconscionable imprisonment for fighting for, staging #FreeNnamdiKanuNow! We are back and not backing down! FREEDOM OR NOTHING! #RevolutionNow
We are once again deeply grateful to our legal team members and leads Tope Temokun, Adeyanju Deji, Barr. Maxwell Opara, Barrister P.A.N. Ejiofor, Barr. Blessing, and many others who kept vigil at both the Magistrate Court and Kuje Prison throughout this ordeal.
I also want to honour the incredible resilience of Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, who, despite falling ill in prison, refused to abandon the team or seek medical treatment outside the facility. My appreciation also goes to Prince Kanu, Barrister Okere, Amadi from Port Harcourt, and the remarkable co-accused who braved all odds and began organising behind bars, as well as to the inmates who offered kindness and solidarity from within the ‘inside world’.
To the warders, prison administrators, and nurses who showed compassion and empathy during those difficult days, your humanity did not go unnoticed.
Once again, thank you all for standing firm for justice and for one another.
