I don’t care, its open to her – Blaqbonez says wouldn’t mind an open marriage
Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has revealed that he would consider an open marriage, stating that sexual exclusivity is not the defining element of a committed relationship.
Speaking on a recent interview the In My Opinion podcast, the rapper said passion and sexual activity tend to decrease over time in marriage.
According to Blaqbonez, the foundation of marriage lies in emotional and mental connection, which external partners cannot be replace, while adding that if a partner is unavailable due to work or travel, it may be acceptable for the other to seek intimacy elsewhere.
“Sometimes I wonder if I’m broken I don’t trust nobody or I don’t trust anything.
“I don’t care, its open to her. Most married couples don’t keep having the same amount of sex they were having at the beginning—it naturally reduces,” he said.
He further explained: “If somebody is satisfying her sexually while I’m hustling or touring and not always available to be with her that’s is okay. There’s more to marriage than s#x.
“You are getting your back blown out, but you are dedicated to me, you give me your time, your effort, you give me everything I need, if you sneak in two minute to f***k someone, I don’t care.”
The rapper added that he believes his emotional investment in his spouse would be unmatched by any outsider, stating, “Nobody is just going to get her sexually and also mentally addicted to them. You probably can’t make her laugh the way I do.”
