Two Kidnapped Brothers Released in Kwara after ransom.
Two brothers who were recently abducted from Esanti village in the Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State have finally regained their freedom and have been reunited with their family.
The release came after the payment of a significant ransom to their abductors.
According to a resident who confirmed the development to NupekoTV this afternoon.
The rescued brothers were identified as Mahmud and Sulieman.
Ransom Paid: Their freedom was secured after the family and community reportedly raised and paid a ransom of N10 million to the bandits.
The successful return of Mahmud and Sulieman brings relief to the Esanti community, which has been under immense pressure following repeated bandit attacks and kidnappings. The payment of the huge sum of money, however, highlights the dire challenges faced by communities in Patigi LGA and the growing lucrative nature of the kidnapping-for-ransom crisis in Kwara North.
