Gabon captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has sent a strong message to Nigeria’s Super Eagles, declaring that the Panthers are fully determined to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Aubameyang, who was instrumental in guiding Gabon to the playoffs, said his team is more motivated than ever to make history by reaching the global tournament for the first time.

Speaking to The Standard, the former Arsenal and Barcelona striker said:

“We want to go to the World Cup, and to get there, we have to win games. I’m very motivated, and when you have the chance to go to the World Cup, you have to be even more motivated.”Best video game consoles

The 36-year-old forward will lead Gabon in the first leg of their CAF playoff clash against Nigeria, scheduled to take place in Morocco.

Nigeria, who missed out on the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, are equally determined to secure a return to the world stage, setting up what promises to be a fierce and thrilling contest.
