Fubara Issues One-Month Ultimatum To Contractor

Governor Siminalayi Fubara has expressed deep disappointment over a contractor’s poor performance despite full funding. The governor made this known during his inspection of the 6.5km Woji–Aleto–Alesa–Refinery Road project, which includes a 200-metre bridge.

During the inspection, Governor Fubara ordered the contractor to complete the project within one month or face strict action. He also directed that all dredging activities around the bridge area be stopped immediately.

The governor made it clear that his administration will not tolerate delay or poor-quality work, especially when the State Government has released enough funds to ensure smooth completion.

He emphasized that his goal is to deliver quality infrastructure that truly serves the people of Rivers State and improves their daily lives.
