‘I am a Muslim, I don’t eat it’: Bobrisky rejects pork meat at UK restaurant
Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has once again become a topic of discussion online after his recent encounter with a waiter at a restaurant abroad.
The controversial crossdresser, who has been residing overseas since his release from prison, posted a short video on TikTok showing himself dining at a restaurant reportedly in the United Kingdom.
According to Islamic belief, it is forbidden for Muslims to eat pork. In Surah Al-Baqarah 2:173, Allah says:
“He has only forbidden you carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah.”
In the viral clip, shared on his official Instagram page with almost 5m followers, Bobrisky was seen making his food order while telling the waiter that he doesn’t eat bacon (pork) or mushrooms because of his Muslim faith. He instead opted for fish.
