“Marriage Isn’t My Thing”- Offset Opens Up On Failed Marriage With Cardi B

American rapper Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, has announced he is done with marriage.
He was previously married to Cardi B in 2017.
Offset expressed that he feels he has completed that chapter of his life.

American rapper Kiari Kendrell Cephus, better known as Offset, has declared that he is officially done with marriage.

The former Migos member, who married Cardi B in 2017, stated that he had already fulfilled that chapter of his life and had no intention of walking down the aisle again.

 

 

 

 

 

Offset made the revelation during an appearance on the Full Send Podcast with Kyle Forgeard, where he opened up about life after his much-publicized relationship.

Explaining his stance, the rapper said:

“Marriage isn’t for me. I’ve been through it, I’ve had three kids from it, and it feels like a mission I’ve already completed. I’ve lived that experience.”

His comments come less than a year after Cardi B filed for divorce in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. However, the case has yet to be concluded, as Cardi disclosed in January 2025 that Offset has not signed the divorce papers.

Offset and Cardi B secretly wed on September 20, 2017. Their marriage produced three children and became a constant subject of public attention marked by dramatic reconciliations, headline-grabbing disputes, and viral moments.

Meanwhile, Cardi B is currently facing trial over allegations that she assaulted a pregnant security guard.
