Iwobi, Troost-Ekong & Others Gift Super Falcons ₦24 Million

Seven top Super Eagles stars have donated a combined ₦24 million to the Super Falcons, following their impressive performance at the 2024 WAFCON.

The generous donors include:
William Troost-Ekong (Captain), Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Ademola Lookman, Leon Balogun, amongst others. Joseph Ayodele-Aribo.

Each of these players reportedly contributed towards the lump sum as a gesture of support and encouragement to their female counterparts.

The donation has been widely applauded by fans and football stakeholders, who praised the players for backing the women’s team both morally and financially.

As the Super Falcons continue to rise, the “Big Boys” of Nigerian football are clearly watching—and backing them with cash.
