DON’T ARGUE AWAY YOUR MIRACLE – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
Luke 1:20 KJV.
“And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season”.
*MESSAGE:*
☆☆☆ Zechariah and his wife, Elizabeth, had no child and both of them were already old.
☆☆☆ Zechariah, the priest of God, had been praying and the angel of God came announcing to him that his prayer had been answered.
*”But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John” – Luke 1:13.*
☆☆☆ Now listen to the response of Zechariah👇
*”And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years” – Luke 1:18.*
☆☆☆ Here was a man who had been praying for a child, why then the argument!!
☆☆☆ He was even giving the angel of God, ‘good reasons’; why the message that God had sent to him could no longer come to pass.
☆☆☆ The question now will be, why was he then praying?
☆☆☆ Don’t tell me that Zechariah was not praying for a child, for it was clear from the declaration of the angel of God that he actually was.
“But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John” – Luke 1:13.
☆☆☆ This will now take us back to our main bible verse for today.
*”And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season” – Luke 1:20.*
☆☆☆ The Angel of the Lord had to stop Zechariah from rubbishing what he, the angel; had been sent to do.
☆☆☆ Zechariah was made dumb until what the angel of God said came to pass.
☆☆☆ Beloved, many children of God today are like the Zechariah of old.
☆☆☆ Many people are praying but they don’t even believe that what they are asking God for in prayers will ever come to pass.
☆☆☆ If the angel of God didn’t close the mouth of Zechariah, he might even kill the faith of his wife with his own unbelief.
☆☆☆ Many people today need to make themselves dumb so that they don’t destroy their own testimonies with negative confessions.
☆☆☆ As far as God is concerned, your confession is your possession. What you say with your mouth is what you will get.
☆☆☆ For the bible says👇
*”Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord , as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you” – Numbers 14:28.*
☆☆☆ Beloved, why do you think that Joshua commanded the children of Israel never to say a word while moving round the wall of Jericho?
*”And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout” – Joshua 6:10.*
☆☆☆ Joshua knew that some of them would have been arguing and querying him why they had to waste their time moving round the walls!!
☆☆☆ Some of them would have even asked Joshua to tell them where he heard that: Mere moving round a wall would create a way or collapse the wall.
☆☆☆ Beloved, when God is set to do a thing, he suspends all natural laws.
☆☆☆ A miracle does not occur through natural laws. When natural laws are suspended, then a miracle occurs.
☆☆☆ Beloved, what is your own dictating to God how he will solve that problem or how your miracle will happen!
☆☆☆ If anything happens through the dictates or manipulations of men, then it is no longer a miracle but a magic.
☆☆☆ Some people today are story tellers on the altar of prayers.
☆☆☆ Some people are only complaining thinking that they are praying.
☆☆☆ Let’s look at the case of the sick man at the pool of Bethesda, in John 5:1-7.
☆☆☆ Jesus had asked him a simple question: “will thou be made whole”.
☆☆☆ Simple question which required a simple answer: Yes or No.
☆☆☆ But this sick man started telling Jesus how many years he had missed his miracle.
☆☆☆ How some people played a fast one on him by jumping into the pool before he could do so.
☆☆☆ This is the same way most Christians today behave on the altar of prayers.
☆☆☆ A lady will be busy challenging God why sister ‘A’ should get married ahead of her. Sister ‘A’ isn’t as beautiful as she is.
☆☆☆ Another brother will be arguing with God, even accusing God for being partial. He graduated with a distinction, still roaming the streets; but brother ‘B’ who managed to pass with a third class is working with a big company, earning 7 digits per month; as salary.
☆☆☆ Beloved, pray if you want to pray and stop complaining or arguing on the altar of prayers. Don’t argue away your miracles.
☆☆☆ There is time and season for everyone and only God determines when it’s your own turn.
*PRAYERS* 👇
1. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to argue away my miracles when I am expected to be crying to you on the altar of prayers.
2. Father, please help my unbelief and increase my faith to actualize my miracle.
3. Father, on the day of my divine intervention, uproot the spirit of argument out of my life in Jesus name.
4. I receive spiritual boldness to pray my miracles into manifestations in Jesus name.
5. Father, uproot and dismantle every spirit of delay, standing between me and my miracles.
6. You that spirit of failure and disappointment at the peak of success, your time is up; lose your hold over my life in Jesus name.
7. I refuse to argue with my angel of breakthrough and success in Jesus name.
8. Lord, let mercy speak for me on the day of my need in Jesus name.
9. In the race of life, I refuse to be unfortunate.
10. My breakthrough is not negotiable, it is my turn to testify.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I pray for somebody today and I decree, every wall of unbelief standing between you are your miracle shall collapse from today in Jesus name.
May the Lord close your mouth against negative confessions, at the point of manifestation, in Jesus name.
From today, the Lord will empower your mouth to confess your miracle into manifestation.
I decree, the Lord shall anoint your tongue for positive confessions and pronouncements in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, the God of heaven shall suspend all natural laws and command your miracle into existence.
The God of heaven shall uproot every protocol put in place by men to block your manifestation.
As the Lord steps into your case today, I decree, every wall of Jericho, standing on your way; shall be dismantled.
I decree and declare, that which the Lord has spoken concerning you, shall become a testimony in Jesus name.
The promises of God shall find performance in your life in due season in Jesus name.
The word of God is like a seed, I decree, you will harvest every prophetic word spoken into your life in Jesus name.
Your mouth will not stand against you on the day of your miracle in Jesus mighty name.
You are blessed.
