The Mission Field of The Altar – Pastor Eze Joshua

Luke 10:2 KJV
Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

As I move from cities to towns, to villages and nations, I meditate within my heart and came to these few conclusions.

Listen..There is a certain title or designation given to men in the harvest field of the Kingdom, it is called The Labourers. It is by these men that the heavens run through the mission field of the Kingdom and turn the sheaves in for the Lord. Without them, the harvest will be overwhelming and no work will be done. There can be plenty of interest and activities going on, but work is done when labourers are mobilised and to the measure they are mobilised.

To volunteer for Labour in the kingdom is very very different and in many cases distant from being Mobilized.
Listen, it is God’s will that many are on the field of Kingdom Labours but unfortunately the Law of Mobilisation must be obeyed before the Law of Sending.
If the Church in her good-intensionedness send men without paying attention to whether they are properly mobilised, then the feedback will be very frustrating if not counterproductive.

From Jesus’s Statement here and this is a law He presented not just an exhortation to the disciples, I would’ve thought men would be sent at a behest, but He said, PRAY YE; This means The Altar Governs the Mission Field.

b, The Altar is where resources are mobilised.
c, The Altar is where empowerment is mobilised.
d, The Altar is where Victory and Penetration is mobilised.
e, The Altar is where satan is decimated.
f, The Altar is where souls and territories are taken.
g, The Altar is where the Labourers and Labours are sustained.

We’re expecting too much from people and our strategies if we have not first laboured on the Mission Field of the Altar.

Luke 10:17-19 KJV
And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Jesus is telling His disciples that the stupendous impact they are seeing on the Mission Field is the direct result of the dethroning of a Principality, it looked as if it is not possible to have that measure of results if there where no results first on the altar.

We must learn to conquer on our knees. If you can win on the Mission Field of the Altar, then there is no Mission Field known to man and spirits that cannot be authentically discipled for Jesus.
Our knees must be bent and calloused, so that the Sickle will be sharp and stretched.
Our sighs and groans must be deep so that the words of preaching will be heavy and convicting.
We must see it first on the Mission Field of the Altar before we step out or send men out.

No matter how it looks, spiritual impact can’t be bigger than the altar.
We must see the Mission Field on our Altar, we must weep and travail that the Lord will cover people and lands with His Glory and Power.
We must see it first on the altar, we cannot entertain jamboree.
No amount of organising can substitute for Agonisings of the spirit of prayer within us.

The most modern tool of Labour is still the knees bent in heartfelt and intense prayers.
