YOU ARE NAKED – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
John 1:48 KJV.
“Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee”.
*MESSAGE*
☆☆☆ Jesus found and called Philip.
☆☆☆ Philip now found Nathanael and told him about Jesus of Nazareth saying 👇
“We have found him, of whom Moses in the law and the prophets did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph” – John 1:45.
☆☆☆ Nathanael now responded, “can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?”
☆☆☆ Philip then brought Nathanael to Jesus to confirm that something good had actually come out of Nazareth.
☆☆☆ Immediately Jesus saw Nathanael, he said 👇
“… Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no guile” – John 1:47.
☆☆☆ Nathanael was surprised by the way Jesus described him.
☆☆☆ He was wondering where and how Jesus knew him because they had never met before that day.
☆☆☆ Jesus now resolved his worries and said that he saw him under the fig tree while he and Philip were discussing.
☆☆☆ In actual fact, Jesus did not only see him and Philip, he also heard every of their discussion.
☆☆☆ Jesus was actually responding to the statement of Nathanael, “can there any good thing come out of Nazareth”; that was why Jesus said 👇
“… Behold an Israelite indeed, in who there is no guile” – John 1:47.
☆☆☆ Jesus appreciated the fact that Nathanael didn’t hide his doubt.
☆☆☆ Beloved, Jesus saw Nathanael under the tree, heard his conversation with Philip and yet neither Philip nor Nathanael was aware of this.
☆☆☆ This should quickly tell us all that none of our activities is hidden from the All seeing and the All knowing God.
☆☆☆ For the bible says 👇
“He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?” – Psalm 94:9.
☆☆☆ Beloved, God sees and knows your location at any given time.
☆☆☆ He listens to the silent whispers in our hearts and knows all our doings.
☆☆☆ When a man wants to deceive himself, he shuts the door and puts off the light while committing sin.
☆☆☆ God does not need to come through any door before entering into a place. He is the door. Read John 10:9.
☆☆☆ He does not need any light before he can see, he is the light. Read John 8:12.
☆☆☆ The bible again says 👇
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” – 1 John 1:5.
The bible also declares 👇
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” – 1 John 1:7.
☆☆☆ How then can a man hide in darkness, thinking that the One who is light, cannot see him!!
☆☆☆ Beloved, those lies you packaged against your brother which he could neither defend nor deny, are all known to God.
☆☆☆ You arranged the hired killers to terminate the life of your business partner, all because of money, and you wept the most during his burial. God had recorded all the events waiting for you to view on the day of judgement.
☆☆☆ Brother, you have done a very “neat” job but somebody else, who you have implicated by your action; is suffering.
☆☆☆ The All seeing and the All knowing God sees it all.
☆☆☆ Judgement day may be delayed but it will surely come.
☆☆☆ For the bible warns 👇
“Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil” – Ecclesiastes 8:11.
☆☆☆ Men were afraid to do evil in the days of the apostles of old, when judgement against wrong doings was speedily executed.
☆☆☆ Read the story of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5:1-11.
☆☆☆ The mistake any man can make today is to think that once judgement doesn’t come immediately, everything is perfect and well covered up.
☆☆☆ No beloved, there is no cover up. Everything is Naked before God.
☆☆☆ There is no cover up sister. All your ‘secrets’ are open before him, all Naked.
☆☆☆ Beloved, run back to God today, forsake your sinful ways and ask him to forgive you and he will surely do.
☆☆☆ Only those who think that they can cover their sins will be denied of forgiveness. Read Proverbs 28:13.
☆☆☆ God is full of mercy and ready to forgive but time is running out. Embrace him today.
*PRAYERS* 👇
■■■ Some people are suffering today because they have been betrayed by those they relied so much upon.
1. Father, don’t allow me to be a victim of blind trust in Jesus name.
2. Guide my steps and my ways Lord and don’t allow me to fall into the trap set by the wicked.
3. Father, let your light shine into every department of my life, such that there won’t be any hiding place for the enemy.
4. Oh God my father, please expose every hiding place of any unfriendly friend surrounding my life.
5. Lord Jesus, arise and take over the battle of my life.
6. Fight on Jesus and please heal my wounds Lord.
7. Father, shine your light over every dark spot of my life and restore me where I have gone astray.
8. Give me the grace Lord to acknowledge my sinful ways and forsake them all.
9. Please Lord, make me a candidate and a recipient of your mercy.
10. I am victorious in Jesus name.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS* 👇
I decree, based on the scriptures, the wicked will never go unpunished in Jesus name.
Those who are suffering today as a result of the wickedness of man to man, I decree, the All seeing God will vindicate you all in Jesus name.
Please Lord, heal every heart that is hurt in Jesus name.
To somebody out there, I decree, the truth of the lie caging you shall come to the open and the workers of iniquities will be exposed in Jesus name.
The rod of the wicked will not fall upon the righteous in Jesus name.
Those lies cleverly packaged against you will not see the light of the day in Jesus name.
To as many as are yet to come to the knowledge of the truth, the Truth himself (Jesus), who found Philip, will locate you today in Jesus name.
I pray for somebody this day, the truth concerning the dilemma you have found yourself shall come to lime light and the God of heaven will vindicate you in Jesus mighty name.
You are victorious and blessed in Jesus mighty name.
