Aiyedatiwa breaks silence over Ondo Assembly’s principal officer reshufflement
The Governor of Ondo state, Hon. lucky Aiyedatiwa has dismissed insinuation that he influenced the change of leadership in the state House of Assembly yesterday where all the principal officers except the Speaker were changed.
Aiyedatiwa was specifically alleged to have personal vendetta against the former Deputy Speaker and Son of Olugbo of Ugbo, Prince Abayomi Akinruntan who is representing Ilaje constituency 1.
However, Aiyedatiwa said during the vehicles distribution in Akure on Wednesday that, “Nothing is permanent. Society itself envolves. So, they are doing some readjustment in the house. Basically, their business, so it’s not my business. I’m on my lane. As long as the House is peaceful. I have no problem, and the business is going on fine. Well, done.”
The Governor, however, congratulated the newly emerged majority leader, Hon. Olatunji Oshati (maxima), representing Ose Constituency in the Assembly.
