Enough is Enough Protest : Please call it off – Pa Benji begs Youth
As May 29th draws closer for the two years anniversary of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, a coalition of eminent Nigeria youth groups are systematically planning a National demonstration marking a two years of shared hunger, insecurity and Renewed Hopelessness.
The most disturbing part of the planned protest is the findings that 76% of those heading the planned protest are leaders of various Pro-Tinubu organisations who are disgruntled and sidelined by the Present federal administration.
The General Overseer of Power Must Change Hands Assembly, Pa Benji has called on the leaders of the planned National demonstration to halt their moves as he said the protest if held, will disrupt alot of National activities and may take Nigeria aback to the days of undemocratic rule.
The youths under the aegis of The Citizens Movement have noted that the insecurity situation of the country is worsening by the day as security chiefs are failing woefully.
“We the Citizens will come out en-mass to demand for the immediate sack of the service Chiefs by Mr. President before we all perish. There is urgent need for Mr. President to rejing his Defence Architecture for Vibrant, service ready and intelligent officers to head various armed forces”, the youth Leader expressed.
The youths noted that the ugly situation that took place in Borno state, leaving soldiers lifeless was avoidable if the intelligence arm of our nation’s defence structure is up and doing.
