The people’s Democratic party of owo local government Area of Ondo state commiserate with the people of owo on the ugly attack on worshipper on Sunday, the statement which was released and sign by the party Publicity Secretary Akogun Folahanmi.

According to him, Our deepest condolences to the families of the innocent and the peace loving victims of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Owaluwa Owo, Sunday Terror attack. This unfortunate attack took the lives of Children, Women and Men that went to Mass to pray to the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray to the good Lord to accept their worship and grant them lasting peace in his Bossom in Heaven.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Christian and most importantly the Catholic community of Owo Local Government as they grieve the loss of their own and recover from the trauma caused by this unprovoked act of terror, even as we pray with them in solidarity.

We condole with the Olowo of Owo, His Imperial Majesty Oba Gbadegeshin Ogunoye III and urge him to please take heart, even as we pray he gains the fortitude to bear the loss in our beloved land.

Our thoughts are with the entire people of Owo Land and the non-native residents.

We challenge the government and security operatives to girdle up as they investigate, apprehend and punish the evil and satanic men of terror that perpetuated this evil act, as this will provide succor to the bereaved. Provisions and necessary training should be given to anticipate and control related attacks in the future.

We charge the PDP family and the good people of Owo to please shun every reprisal attacks, remain calm and vigilant as we rely on the security forces to do justice to the unpleasant situation.

May the good Lord give us all the fortitude to bear these deep sharp pains and grant the departed souls lasting rest in Heaven.
