Ambitious women should not date unambitious men.

I’m not saying that you need to date a CEO or someone who is cr¥sh!ng it 24 7 but there’s a difference between someone who is contented with where they are and someone who has the determination and the zeal to grow.

Now, let’s imagine that you’re waking up at 7 a.m. You’re chasing your goals. You’re building your career. You’re investing in yourself.

And the man you’re dating, he’s just comfortable doing nothing. He’s not trying to level up. He’s not trying to build himself.

Nothing. There’s no balance in the relationship. Slowly, you’re going to start realizing that he’s not adding anything to your life. He’s slowing you down.

Then the res£ntm£nt k!cks in. He gets int!m!d@t£d by your success and you start wondering if your ambition is the problem. Your ambition is not the problem.

The problem is you’re with someone who does not understand your drive because they don’t have that same drive and you cannot pour into someone who has no intention of filling their own cup.

Ambitious women who date unambitious men end up doing two things they either dim their lights to make him feel comfortable or they outgrow him and they leave.

Either way someone l0ses. Ambitious women need to date people who are in the same drive as they are. You need someone who is moving in the same direction, who is going to respect your hustle because he has his own hustle.

Date someone who is building something, not someone that you have to build. Your ambition deserves a partner, not a project.”
