According to a report from Daily Post on Thursday, January 15, The Governance Advisory Council (GAC) is actively working to postpone Seyi Tinubu’s gubernatorial aspirations until 2031, expressing concern that Nigerians would not accept having a father as president and his son simultaneously serving as governor.

Party insiders reveal that while the 40-year-old has shown interest in the Lagos governorship, he has been counseled to prioritize mobilizing support for his father’s 2027 re-election campaign instead.
