VDM vs Blord: Igbo men attack Verydarkman in China for spoiling their business

A new video circulating on social media shows popular activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) being confronted by a group of Igbo men at an airport in China.

The men, who appeared visibly upset, accused VDM of spoiling their business following his recent clash with entrepreneur Blord over a controversial iPhone modification project.

In the trending clip, the activist was surrounded by several men as they questioned him about his repeated criticisms of Nigerian businessmen operating in China. One of the men was heard saying:

“Why are you always spoiling our business? Where you fumbled is when you called Blord’s name. You shouldn’t have called his name”

VDM, however, stood his ground, insisting that he can call anyone’s name as he deems fit. He was seen responding calmly while attempting to clarify his side of the story.

As expected, Nigerians have flooded the comment section to react to the video.

“This is just the minority, majority of the igbo business men are mad at VDM,” a user Esen said.

Another one, a Ghanian, said: “Igbo people dey bother Nigeria, dey bother china ,dey bother Ghana still dey bother SA Haba this people eh😂As a Ghananian I respect this people.”

John also contributed. He said, “One thing about Igbo business men is this, they don’t play with their business and they would go as sentiments as possible to support their respective selfish interests.”

Tonero backs VDM, he said: “Na all this mine your business na him dey spoil this country If you no person wey dey inflate price of commodity call him/her out, na your fundamentals human rights”

The confrontation comes days after VDM accused Blord of misleading Nigerians by allegedly selling “rebranded iPhone XR models” as iPhone 17 Pro Max, a claim that sparked widespread debate across social media platforms.

Blord, in his defense, stated that his company legitimately transforms iPhones in China, maintaining that his business is authentic and transparent.

In related news, an Igbo man also called out VDM for spoiling Igbo men’s business in China, claiming no Nigerian tribe does business as the Igbo tribe. He said VDM would render many Igbo youths in China useless because he links Chinese manufacturers directly to Nigerians.
