UN Ranks Nigeria 8th in Africa, 98th Globally on Industrialisation

Nigeria has been ranked 8th on Africa’s Industrialisation Index and 98th globally, according to the UN.

Experts at an NESG dialogue in Abuja warned that Nigeria lags behind peers like South Africa and Egypt, urging full implementation of the Petroleum Industry Act and policies to boost competitiveness in oil, gas, and manufacturing.
