U.S. Soldier of Nigerian origin, Sulaiman Isa, vows never to invade Nigeria over false ‘killing of Christians’ claims

A United States soldier of Nigerian descent, Sulaiman Isa, has declared that he would never participate in any military action against his home country, Nigeria, over false claims of religious persecution.

In a post shared on social media, Sulaiman, who hails from Kano State, said he could never “invade his own country or harm his parents and relatives” based on fabricated reports alleging mass killings of Christians in Nigeria.

He condemned all forms of violence and religious intolerance, stressing that he stands against the killing of any Nigerian Muslim or Christian alike.

Sulaiman further noted that insurgents such as Abubakar Shekau, Bello Turji, and Dogo Gide target innocent civilians indiscriminately, saying, “They kill without caring whether their victims are Muslims or Christians.”

He urged Nigerians to remain united and resist any divisive narratives designed to create religious tension or invite foreign intervention in the country.
