Troops confirm location of  kidnapped Kebbi students 

The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, has announced that military troops have pinpointed the location of the schoolgirls kidnapped earlier this week in Kebbi State.

The girls, 25 in total, were taken on Monday from Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, in the Danko Wasagu Local Government Area. Armed attackers stormed the area and abducted the students, triggering nationwide concern and renewed scrutiny over school safety in the region.

Matawalle stated that security forces are advancing with caution to ensure the safe recovery of the victims, while operations in the surrounding areas continue to tighten the cordon around the kidnappers.

The abduction adds to recent incidents across northern states, heightening pressure on security agencies and state authorities to deliver swift results.
