TRANSIENT POWER, ETERNAL IMPACT – BANJI ALABI ESQ

“The Bible says Jesus Christ went about doing good; the blind could see, the lame could walk.
My experience of over 37 years in both private and public sectors is that power is transient and nothing is worth dying for – be it position, women, men, money, big cars, fame, or houses in the choicest areas. I’ve seen it all; they’re all vanity upon vanity. Nature and technology keep producing better versions every day, so why die for something that’ll be obsolete in a few years?
Making money shouldn’t be the primary goal of anyone who wants to be happy and comfortable in life.
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Commander-in-Chief, set a standard and defined the path we should follow to acquire stupendous wealth and fame. Acts 10:38 says Jesus went about doing good and adding value to people. Matthew 11:5 says, “The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news preached to them.”
Because of His contributions to humanity, He’s still celebrated more than 2000 years after He left the world. As children of God, we’re to make contributions that enhance human existence. The biggest investment God has on earth is you and me. The surest way to wealth and fame is to put your investments in the same portfolio as Jesus Christ by creating products, services, solutions, or platforms necessary for humanity’s continued existence or enhancement.

Life is too beautiful to be thrown away; it’s too short not to pursue your dreams. Someday, your life will near its end, and you’ll look back. You can reflect with joy or regret. Those who dream, set goals, and act on them live lives of joy and have peace at the end. They finish well, for themselves and their families.
Our days pass by, taking us closer to our destiny. Childhood can’t be restored, old age can’t be avoided, and death can’t be prevented. Let’s smile while we still have teeth. Stay safe; it’s safety first.

Avoid jealousy and the “Pull Him Down” syndrome. Don’t join the multitude to do evil. Don’t allow yourself to be hired to hate innocent people. Don’t be jealous of successful people and spread lies against them to justify your own failures. You too can be rich if you develop yourself, learn a skill that solves problems, and commercialize it. The more problems you solve, the richer you become.
Stop the hate speech! You have the power to develop problem-solving skills, commercialize them, and start smiling to the bank.
The difference between the rich and the poor is that the rich help solve problems, but the poor are idle and have nothing to exchange.
Life is like trade by barter – if you come to the market with nothing, you also return home with nothing. But the good news is that your poverty is curable! Learn a trade, commercialize it, and start smiling to the bank. AGE IS NOT A BARRIER
