Tragedy in Bauchi as  18 Passengers, Including 4 Corps Members, Killed in Inferno Crash”

A tragic road accïdent occurred last night 09th January, 2026 near the Federal College of Education (FCE), Bauchi gate, leaving 18 people burnt to Dêath while traveling to Abuja.

Among the victims are four (4) National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members, according to reports. The vehicle reportedly cãught fïre after the crash, bürning all occupants beyond recognition.

The bürnt bodies have been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Bauchi, as authorities work to identify the victims and contact their families.

It was gathered that some of the victims are from Adamawa State, while others are from Gombe State.

Members of the public are urged to share this information widely to help reach the families of the victims.
