Tinubu’s Minister Festus Keyamo Reveals Why Datti Baba-Ahmed Led “a High Powered Delegation” to His Office

Nigeria’s minister of aviation, Festus Keyamo has revealed that former vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Datti Baba-Ahmed led a high powered delegation to his office on a working visit today, February 5th.

Mr. Festus Keyamo, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) made the disclosure through his X account, stating that the working visit to his office by Datti Baba-Ahmed led delegate was to seek approval from the ministry of aviation for a proposed aviation school by Baze university.

Datti Baba-Ahmed being the chancellor of Baze university Abuja led the delegate to Mr. Festus Keyamo to request permission from the ministry of aviation for the building of an aviation school in Bwari. The proposed aviation school will have its own runway for training purposes for its prospective pilots and others studying aviation related courses at the proposed school.

 

Earlier today, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed , the Chancellor of Baze University, Abuja, led a high-powered delegation from the University to my office on a working visit. They came in respect of the proposed Baze University Aviation School, which is to be sited in Bwari, with its own runway for training of pilots and aviation-related courses”, he stated.

 

Festus Keyamo also expressed his willingness to facilitate the project, stating that he has given directives for the processes to be hastened necessary for the project to take off.

“I assured them of the full cooperation and support of the Federal Government towards a realisation of the project and immediately directed my Permanent Secretary and all relevant aviation agencies to hasten all bureaucratic processes to ensure its take-off”.
