Timber Supplier, Staff Kidnapped in Kogi

A timber supplier from Egbe, Yagba area of Kogi State, has been kidnapped alongside one of his staff in Okoloke, Yagba West Local Government Area.

According to information gathered, the victims were abducted while working on a farm in the area. One of the workers, who managed to escape, confirmed the incident and said the kidnappers struck suddenly, forcing everyone to flee for safety.

Local sources say the kidnapped timber dealer is well-known in Egbe, heightening concern among residents.

Security operatives and community vigilantes are said to be tracking the situation as tension rises across Okoloke and neighbouring communities.
