“God used a stranger on the bus to save me from k!dn@ppers that day. I was traveling to Lagos for what I thought was a job interview.
Before I finished NYSC, I was aggr£ss!v£ly searching for a better job opportunity. I applied to many companies, and one of them eventually responded with what sounded like a very attractive offer.
Early that morning, I left Ibadan for Lagos for the supposed interview. But while I was on the bus, I felt str@ng£ly uncomfortable. I couldn’t really explain it, but something in my body just didn’t feel right. Still, I continued the journey.
When we were almost at the final bus stop, I asked the driver for directions to the area where the interview was supposed to take place.
Suddenly, one of the passengers shouted, “Don’t go there!”
He explained that his cousin had gone for a job interview around that same area the previous week and had not returned since. According to him, their family was already tracking the people responsible.
Immediately I heard that, I thank him very well, I got down and took another bus straight back to Ibadan.
When I got home, I did proper research on the company and discovered that they had already been labeled online as sc@mm£rs and k!dn@pp£rs.
