As the burden of all individuals continued to grow on daily basis amidst of covid-19, the needies club of ijebu owo ondo state provides relief neccecities for the disables in owo.
The needy club of ijebu owo kingdom which have the ojomoluda of ijebu owo Oba kofoworola who also serves as the life patron of the clubs and numbers of members home and diaspora have been providing series of packages to different sections of homosapiens as a result of the lock down.
The needy club, under the initiative of the Iyalaje of Ijebu also assembled all disables to provides sustainace and relief package.
According to Hon Tayo Red who also serves as a member of the needles Club ijebu owo, it’s imperative for us to assist the disables as we know that the effect of covid-19 lock down is a heavy burden on them,thats why we are gathered to provides measures, though the government has tried in their own capacity but we are sure it cannot go across all boards it however makes this presents essential.
The items distributed are of numbers which includes – Rice, Beans, grandnut oil, eggs, Bread, Semovita,Wheat and Garri as this will no doubt sustained a low or average family for weeks.
In response and appreciation to this kind gesture,the founder of the disable Association in owo kingdom Mr Olupona Adedayo expressed a topmost joy overflowed, as this is coming at the best time and appreciated the needies clubs for the initiative,he therefore plead on behalf of the disables that this type of program should be a continuum and should not stop even after the hard time of covid-19 pandemic.
In attendance at the palace of Ojomoluda of ijebu owo which stands as the venue of the distribution includes: Hon Tayo Red, The Iyalaje of ijebu owo kingdom, Olori ojomoluda, the palace secretary and numbers of the beneficiaries.
