Rising by Lifting Others : The True Legacy of Leadership” – Banji Alabi Esq
……..Nobody rises without sponsors…….
Good morning, friends!
Today, I want to share a powerful truth that can transform our lives and communities
Nobody rises without sponsors
Investing in our people is the key to building a stronger, more compassionate society. It’s time to break free from the rat race and focus on nurturing and empowering each other. When we build our people, they will build our cities.
A true leader’s legacy is not just about achieving personal success, but also about grooming and promoting talents. If you’re in a position of authority, I encourage you to pay it forward. Help someone succeed – whether it’s a colleague, classmate, family member, neighbor, or someone in your online community. Secure an appointment or contract for someone who deserves it. Send words of support to a worthy cause. Provide scholarships. Provide medical care for the elderly and the needy
Be like our Lord Jesus, who went about doing good, healing the blind , the lame , the brokenhearted, and preaching good news to the poor.
Remember, *a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle*. Mentoring is the greatest act of leadership, a sign of personal maturity, security, and self-confidence.
Insecure individuals oppress others, while mature people create leaders greater than themselves. Your assignment has an expiration date, so train your replacement. Your greatest gift to the world is your mentee.
Let’s prioritize building each other up and creating a lasting legacy. As the saying goes, “If what you learn, achieve, accumulate, or accomplish dies with you, then you are a generational failure.”
Let’s change the narrative. Let’s invest in people, mentor the next generation, and leave a lasting impact.
#MentorshipMatters #InvestInPeople #LeadershipLegacy #PayItForward
And let’s not forget, *No champion forever; we are all slaves of time*. Let’s make the most of the time we have and use it to uplift and empower others, leaving a lasting legacy that transcends our own mortality.”
You will succeed
