Rep Riley Moore Makes Stunning Revelation About The Fulanis From His Visit To Nigeria
US Representative and advocate for religious freedom, Riley Moore has made some controversial claims about the Fulani ethnicity in Nigeria. Riley Moore was among the US delegates to Nigeria on fact-finding on genócide claims in Nigeria.
Riley Moore a day after leaving Nigeria, accuses the Fulani ethnicity of carrying out genócide against Nigerian christians particularly in Benue state, Nigeria.
He wrote: While in Benue, I met with dozens of Christians who were driven from their homes and subjected to hórrific viólence and now live in IDP camps. They told harrówing stories that will remain with me for the rest of my life.
One woman was forced to watch as they kîlled her husband and five children. She, and her unborn child, barely escaped.
Another woman’s family was mûrdered in front of her and her baby was rîpped from her wómb.
One man’s family was hàcked to deàth in front of his eyes and his armed was permanently mángled.
There are more than 600,000 Christians in IDP camps in Benue State alone. These Christians should be able to live in their ancestral homeland without fear of genócidal Fulani.
Riley Moore assures the Nigerian christian who are being targeted and kîlled that their cries and prayers have been heard; he stated that the government of the United States of America is committed to ensuring that such genócidal campaign being carried out by the Fulanis do not persist.
“It was an honor and deeply moving to meet with his excellency Bishop Wilfred Anagbe, Bishop Isaac Dugu, and his Royal Highness James Ioruza, traditional ruler of the Tiv people, to discuss the ongoing genocidal campaign by the Fulani in Benue State. Our brothers and sisters in Christ will no longer suffer in silence. The United States has heard your cries and we are working diligently toward solutions”, he stated.
The US lawmaker had in his preliminary report on his fact-finding mission to Nigeria, declared that the Nigeria’s government is highly cooperative and ready for military collaboration with the US to necessitate the end of insecurity ravaging the country.
While the US authority alleges targeted viólence against Nigeria’s christians as well as complicity on the side of the Nigeria’s authority, the Nigerian government has constantly denied the allegation of religious viólence against Christians in Nigeria. The Nigerian authority blames the insecurity in the country on terrórist group such as Boko Haram, ISWAP, and ISIS, stating that these dreaded international terrör groups are responsible for viólent attacks in the country.
The Nigeria’s authority also argue that the activities of these terrör groups affect people of all religious belief and not specifically Christians.
