Hon. Peter Nwosu, The Senior Special Assistant to The Governor of Anambra State on Petroleum and Union Matters urge Ndi Anambra to discard the rumoured news that there will be increase in Petroleum products in January.*
Ndi Anambra are by this notice informed that there will be no fuel scarcity or pump price increase in Anambra State.
Those engaging in panic buying should desist from panic buying as there is no plan to Increase the price of Petroleum products.
Hon. Peter Nwosu wish to appeal to those who store Petroleum products in combustible places to desists as the harmattan season is a period of fire outbreak and therefore, storing Petroleum products in high densely area is an invitation to fire explosion.
Hon. Peter Nwosu further wish to appeal to petrol station owners to ensure that fire extinguishers in their Petroleum station is refilled and their staff trained on how to respond to any fire outbreak.
The Anambra State Government will continue to do all that is possible to ensure that the security, Welfare and Interest of Ndi Anambra is protected.
