Prince 89.7 FM Announces Major Staff Promotions and New Appointments
Prince 89.7 FM has announced a wave of key promotions and appointments aimed at strengthening its leadership and operational structure.
In a statement issued by the management, Olayiwola Karimat Jayeola, fondly called Karimotu Konkolo, has been promoted to Secretary to the Board of Directors.
Jayeola previously served as the Administrative Officer and was elevated in recognition of her diligence and commitment to the station’s growth.
Similarly, Olakunle Olaniyi Fagbure, known within media circles as Omo Igbòro, has been appointed as the new Human Resources Manager.
Fagbure, who currently serves as the Director of Marketing, takes on the new role as part of the station’s broader plan to enhance staff welfare and productivity.
Another notable promotion saw Musa Kolawole Olalekan, popularly called MKO on Mic, assume the position of Director of Logistics.
The management said his elevation came as a result of his outstanding contributions and years of dedicated service to the organisation.
In the same vein, Mercy Aremu Leah, known to listeners as Mercy Omoki, has been promoted to Director of the Traffic Department.
According to the station, her resourcefulness and meticulous approach to work earned her the new role.
The station also unveiled Mubarak Abimbola as its new State House Correspondent and On-Air Personality (OAP). Abimbola joins the team following a remarkable career at other radio stations, where he developed a strong reputation for professionalism and on-air charisma.
Prince 89.7 FM’s management described the appointments as part of the organisational recalibration aimed at deepening professionalism, strengthening editorial reach.
