Political sins ‘ll not lead politicians to hell fire – Oshiomhole
The Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Sen Adams Oshiomhole, has declared that politicians can’t go to hell fire on a count of political sins.
The former governor of Edo State, Oshiomhole, said this yesterday in Benin, during during the All Progressives Congress (APC) state Congress I. Which Jarret Tenabe was reelected.
Oshiomhole who was speaking on the alleged feud between him and the State APC chairman, Terret Tenebe, Oshiomhole said “Political sins are normal in politics and will not take any one to hell.
According to him, Tenebe may have committed sins against him but he has been forgiven, given the fact that they have made up. Politicians are bound to commit sins, but will not lead them to hell fire”.
Reacting to the opposition, lamentation that APC is turning Nigeria into a one party state, Oshiomhole said, no one has provided any evidence of anyone being compared to leave his party to join APC.
“Last week, one after the other, oppositions are lamenting that APC is turning Nigeria to a one party state. Yet, they have not provided any evidence of anyone being compared to leave his party to join APC.
He noted that the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria does not allow any party to deny another person the right to join.
“And President Bola Tinubu is bound to to respect the provision of that constitution. The National Working Committee is guided by the express provision of that constitution and therefore we are not in a position to deny anyone who wants to join us”.
“ And those who are crying that people are moving to the APC, should find out why they put fire in their own party leading to exodus of people out of the party,” he added.
He said there is a vice president who couldn’t build his party (PDP) that elected him as number two citizen but had to join opposition which was then “ACN now APC”.
