‘Please forgive me, leave social media’: BBN Imisi tells mother in leaked phone call
A leaked phone call between BBNaija winner Imisi and her mother has sparked widespread discussion online, revealing a tense and emotional family exchange.
In the recording, reportedly shared by Imisi’s mother, she addressed her daughter directly, referencing past conflicts, including claims that Imisi had been chased out of the house and endured trauma.
Recall Entertainment region reported the family drama between Imisi and her mum, where her mother accused her of hating her and also revealed the bad house she stays even though her daughter won N150m after winning the reality TV show.
During the call, after her mother asked her if it was true that she was raped at 12 years and if she had ever been sent out of the house, Imisi said in Yoruba:
“This is why Aunty Debola said you should not show your face to the world. I can’t be saying all that now, you are in the midst of people. Just overlook everything and leave social media. Don’t worry, I will send you money to rent a new house. I am tired of all this drama. I am still recovering from the stress of Big Brother. Should I be facing another stress now? Please forgive me, I am your daughter.”
The phone call highlights the complicated relationship between Imisi and her mother, which has been under public scrutiny since her BBNaija win.
