Pick Ekungba as your Deputy to Compesate Owo over Akeredolu’s Death – Owo Youth Alliance Urges Aiyedatiwa
We write to first console you on the demise of your Boss, Arakunri Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, may God continue to be with the family he left behind. We want to use this opportunity to also congratulate you on your elevation as the Executive Governor of Ondo state.This elevation comes as a divine progression holding to the prolonged illness and eventual demise of our dear Governor Arakunri Akeredolu. May Almighty God repose his soul.
Without being told, we are not unaware of permutations regarding the position of Deputy Governor. As a man desirous to take the state to greater heights with strong interest of Ondo State people at heart.
Premised on the above, we wish to humbly admonish your Excellency on the need to look more inwardly regarding your second captain in this ship aimed at taking the state to greater heights.
Your Excellency may wish to be equipped with the fact that few individuals have shown interests in running for the governorship election primary comes April this year. Hence, there is the need for you to shop for a tested and trusted personality who can help realise your ambition of giving the state a more purposeful leadership. This choice matters a lot.
Moreover, your choice of Deputy Governor must be centered more on who can be trusted and who will not pull the stool off your feet at the slightest chance. Whoever is to be chosen must be someone ready to share in your vision and not one who will see him/herself struggling for power with you.
Your Excellency, you fortunately and unfortunately found yourself in this critical stage of our political journey in the state. No doubt, the tasks are herculean and you need a co-pilot to help drive your policies of good governance. Your choice of a Deputy stands the chance to either make or mar your determination to bring positive changes to the state and her people. And may Almighty God guide you.
It is worthy of note that Owo has largely lost out in the political equation of the State, and this is the time to show leadership and console the good people of Owo with the Deputy Governor position.
We know you to be a politician of repute who will unite and bring everyone onboard for the general interest of the State.
We humbly and respectfully advise that you beam your searchlight in Owo for the position of Deputy Governor.
We hereby suggest that Alhaji (Chief) Jamiu Ekungba be considered for the Deputy Governor position holding to his leadership experience and his meritorious service to humanity, he has laboured for the party and it will not be out of place to reward him and Owo with the position
It must be stressed that Alhaji Ekungba is an elder Statesman whose Leadership quality cut across the State and Nigeria at large
As Youths Association, our love and trust in your leadership has necessitated this kind of advise. Ondo state needs to be brought back on track.
