People Said Abiola Was Poisoned By Tea Susan Rice Made; She Told Us She Didn’t Do The Tea—Ogunkeyede
In an interview on the State Affairs show with Edmund Obilo, Jumoke Ogunkeyede, an activist, spoke about the death of Chief MKO Abiola
Ogunkeyede said he heard that Abiola died after he drank a tea that was poisoned and the tea was made for him by Susan Rice who was part of an American delegation that visited Abiola.
Ogunkeyede said he later met with Susan Rice and asked her if she was truly the one who made the tea that Abiola drank. He said Rice denied the allegation when she was asked about it.
In Ogunkeyede’s words: “Story had it that he was poisoned by a tea made for him by the American intern, Susan Rice, who followed the delegation here. Rice was very close to us at a point and we have had reason to ask her since then that ‘Did you actually do that tea?’. Of course she denied it”
