Outrage as Spa Worker Zubaidat Isah Allegedly Stabbed by Boss in Gwarinpa

THE STORY OF KOGI BORN ZUBAIDAT ISAH ALLEGEDLY K!LLED BY HER BOSS

On February 13, 2025, the life of a young and hardworking lady, Zubaidat Isah, was abruptly and v!olently cut short in what can only be described as a heartbreaking and deeply disturbing act of cruelty.

Zubaidat, a native of Okene in Kogi State, had simply gone to work like any other day after responding to a call from her employer. That day was supposed to be her day off a time to rest and recover but one phone call changed everything forever.

Zubaidat worked at Spa Republic, a beauty and wellness establishment in Utako, Abuja, reportedly owned by Grace Okosun, who is now at the center of a serious m@rder allegation. According to accounts, on the morning of February 13, Zubaidat received a call from her boss instructing her to go to House 3 Hotel in Gwarinpa to attend to a client.

Despite it being her off day, she agreed ever dutiful and committed to her job. She went alongside a colleague (whose name is being withheld for safety reasons).

While waiting for the supposed client, confusion began to grow. Minutes turned into hours. Then shock replaced confusion.

In a disturbing twist, their boss who had earlier claimed she was not in Abuja reportedly appeared at the hotel. But she did not come with a client. She allegedly came holding a knife and a bottle of Sniper, a dẹ̄adly pesticide.

According to the colleague who escaped:

I was in House 3 Hotel, Gwarinpa, with Zubaidat Isah waiting for the client when we saw our madam (Grace Okosun) coming with a knife and Sniper. I was shocked because she said she was not in Abuja. She started st@bbing Zubaidat, and that was how I managed to escape.”

Since that day, Zubaidat’s family says they have not seen her body. They have not been given the dignity of laying their daughter to rest. They remain in painful uncertainty grieving, confused, and desperate for answers.

Why would an employer allegedly lure her employee under the guise of work and commit such a horr!fic act? What truly happened inside House 3 Hotel that day?

The family is demanding transparency and justice. They want answers. They want accountability.

Zubaidat was not just a spa worker. She was someone’s daughter, someone’s sister, someone’s friend. She had dreams and aspirations. She was striving to build a better future.

This case must not fade into silence.

We cannot normalize a society where young women disappear under suspicious circumstances without clear investigations and justice. We cannot move on without clarity.
