Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe Hails Appointment of Sheikh Yunus Anola as Chief Imam of Owo Kingdom
The member representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Sheikh Yunus Anola on his appointment as the Chief Imam of Owo Kingdom.
In a statement signed and released to Our Heritage Reporter by Hon.Olaniyi, Dr. Adelegbe described Sheikh Anola as a distinguished Islamic scholar, seasoned academic, and community builder whose teachings and leadership have positively impacted countless lives within Ondo State and across Nigeria.
He noted that the appointment of Sheikh Anola reflects recognition of his vast knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence, moral uprightness, and commitment to promoting peace, tolerance, and unity among the faithful.
Dr. Adelegbe commended the Muslim community of Owo Kingdom for choosing a cleric of such integrity and intellectual depth to lead them at a time when spiritual guidance and moral renewal are most needed.
He further urged the newly appointed Chief Imam to continue leveraging his personal virtues, wealth of experience, and scholarly background to foster harmony within the Muslim Ummah and strengthen interfaith relationships across Owo and beyond.
