Osun releases supplementary list for 2026 teachers’ recruitment
The Osun State Government has announced the release of a supplementary list to Batch 1 of its 2026 teachers’ recruitment exercise, following approval by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The new development increases the total number of successful applicants from the initial 1,000 to 1,241, creating more opportunities for qualified unemployed youths in the state.
According to the breakdown, 660 candidates were recruited under the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), 526 under the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), and 55 as Education Officers.
Successful candidates have been advised to check the published lists and proceed with profiling and documentation at their respective agencies, including SUBEB, TESCOM, and the Civil Service Commission.
While congratulating the newly recruited teachers, the government urged them to demonstrate professionalism and contribute meaningfully to improving learning outcomes across primary and secondary schools in Osun State.
