As the good people Orlu continues to cry over the recent show of force in the area, the members of the UNITED IMO COMMUNITY OF CANADA (UNICC) wish to condemn the unwarranted excessive show of force, carnage and unholy harassment going on in Orlu by the Nigerian Army.
This was contained in a press release signed by its leader, Hon Sir Aham Nwosu, the president.
According to them, it is sad and disheartening to see their people murdered in cold blood by those who are supposed to protect them.
“We are appealing to Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Executive Governor of Imo state to halt this bloodshed since he has confirmed to inviting the Army. We wish to remind those involved that shedding of innocent blood brings about generational curses. The international community is aware of the atrocities being carried out against our innocent indigenes in Orlu, please let peace reign” they asserted.
