Orji Kalu Calls for Single Six-Year Term for President and Governors

Former Abia State governor and senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, has urged the National Assembly to consider approving a single six-year term for both the President and state governors.

Kalu believes this change will help reduce political tension and give leaders enough time to focus on real development instead of spending years chasing re-election.

He also said the move could bring stability and fairness to Nigeria’s political system.
