Hon. (Dr.) Timehin Adelegbe, the lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency has emphasized the need for unity, cooperation and commitment by members of the All. Progressives Congress for the success of the party at the forthcoming governorship election.

Speaking at an enlarged meeting of the party’s leaders, members of state working committe, local government party executives, ward chairmen from Owo and Ose and other party member.

He apted on the need for all party members to come together as one for the success of the party in the forthcoming guber election.

He said, as human beings difference are bound to happen, but resolving issues is very key as party man.

Adelegbe further noted that he was glad the day Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, one of the governorship aspirants in the just concluded primary election of the APC withdrew his legal suite against the party remains his greatest relief and joy that his friend, the state governor, Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa won again.

He appreciated all leaders and party members particularly the deputy governor, Dr. Adelami and for the victory of Governor Ayedatiwa.

“I sincerely appreciate every members of our great party here present, especially our Deputy Governor for demonstration of leadership.

“Everybody must come on board. The party administration is at embryo until you win election.

“People will compare election results, the figure this time should surpass the previous election.

“I have come to allign with you as a party man and for the success of the party.

Hon. Adelegbe highlighted some of the empowerment programmes in pipeline for the people and for the success of the party. He promised to deliver Owo and Ose in the forthcoming governorship election

Speaking at the meeting, former AG & Commissioner for Justice, Ondo state, Olawoye lamented the insecurity in Ose local government. He pleaded for government help.

“It has become a thing of worry for everyone about the insecurity situation we are having in Ose local government.

“I’m emphaising this because it’s my second home. We must find a lasting solution to end this ugly situation.

In his comment, fmr. Speaker of Ondo state, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan lauded the good job Adelegbe is doing as a rep member noting that he’s proud of him among all the lawmakers in the 9th Assembly.

He also lamented the insecurity situation in Ose local govt which has dovetailed to some parts of Akoko land.

He called on govt of the day for a joint military intervention.

He recalled how Lucky’s project started with a group of five members even before Lucky became deputy or Governor.

He reiterated his loyalty with late Akeredolu.

“Myself and Adelegbe has been coming for long. I know him very well and I’m proud of him.

“I saw his activities all over the places in Owo and Ose. I have witnessed more than three of his empowerment programs.

“In the 9th Assembly, I can boldly say he is the most performing rep among others in Ondo state.

Responding to the issues, the Deputy Governor, Dr Adelami cherished this visit which was made to be a reconciliatory meeting between him and his brother Hon. Adelegbe.

He apted on the good relationship between the lawmaker and himself.

“I’m so glad to have this kind of meeting that seems to be a reconciliation one between him and his brother, Adelegbe.

“We have always maintained a very cordial relationship from onset not until certain differences came in which I think it’s normal as humans.

“On the insecurity situation in Ose, my principal, Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa is working hard to see that safety is restored.

In his closing remarks, the Local Govt Party Chairman APC, Ose, Chief Ladi Tenabe appreciated all members of the party for the unity of purpose ready to put in to the party.

He stressed that no one goes to war with a divided house. He also preached unity among party members

“I’m so glad that this kind of meeting is holding particularly for the sake of a formidable party.

“It’s time to forget our differences and move ahead for the major task ahead of us.

“For me, Hon. Adelegbe is a well known person to him. He’s a very focused and determined person who never look back.
