Ondo NDC Senatorial Candidate, Gbenga Falaiye Greets Muslims, Calls for Unity on Eid-el-Maulud Celebration
The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for Ondo Central Senatorial District, Hon. Gbenga Falaiye has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across Ondo Central and beyond as they commemorate Eid-el-Maulud, the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

Falaiye, in a goodwill message released to Newsmen marking the occasion, urged Muslims to use the celebration as an opportunity to reflect on the teachings and exemplary life of the Prophet, particularly his virtues of peace, compassion, humility, tolerance and love for humanity.
The senatorial candidate stressed the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, noting that the progress and development of society depend largely on the ability of citizens to live and work together irrespective of religious, ethnic or political differences.
He called on Muslim faithful to continue praying for peace, stability and prosperity in Ondo State and Nigeria, while encouraging political and community leaders to place the welfare of the people above personal interests.
According to Falaiye, Eid-el-Maulud provides an important reminder of the values of kindness, justice, sacrifice and service to humanity, which he said should guide both leaders and citizens in their daily lives.
He also expressed optimism that the celebration would strengthen bonds of brotherhood and promote greater understanding among people of different faiths and backgrounds.
Falaiye wished Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Maulud celebration, praying for divine blessings, good health and prosperity for families across Ondo Central and Nigeria.
“May this sacred occasion bring peace to our homes, unity to our communities and renewed hope for a better and more prosperous Nigeria,” he said.
