Ahead of next week’s Monday All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship primary election in Ondo State, the party delegates have vowed to vote against aspirants seeking their dissolution.

Although, the delegates didn’t mention names of these aspirants but revealed that they are aware of their moves in Abuja to get them sack after the Governor Bala Buni led’s Caretaker Transition Committee informed them that their is no going back on the indirect mode of primary.

They spoke with reporter, at the various venues in Ondo west, Ondo west, Ifedore, Idanre, Akure South and Akure North where Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, met party delegates to canvass their votes.

These delegates, who affirmed their support for the continuation of Akeredolu’s government, vowed to stop aspirants with inordinate ambitions from destroying the party.

A delegate from Ondo East, Mr. Jacob Akinnuwa said “majority of these aspirants do not belief in the political ideology of the progressives party.

“Go and check their political histories, they have toured all the political parties in the country and I won’t be suprise if they defect from the party if they fail to realise their ambitions”

Mrs. Bola Amuda from Ifedore ward three also said “we have met and resolved that those who went to Abuja to seek our dissolution won’t get our votes.

Hon. Femi Smith from Idanre urged other aspirants to unite with Akeredolu, saying the state has witnessed a tremendous developmental change in the last three years.

“We won’t allow desperate politicians to create a crack in APC in Ondo State. Akeredolu has done well and leaders of the party including President Muhammadu Buhari has testified to this, so I am appealing to our aspirants to jettison their ambitions and support Akeredolu for second term for the continuation this government in the state”. He stressed.
